Hello! Bienvenidos
OMG I'm blogging again. It seems so surreal, so unreal, but yes I am back again! First of all, I want to wish you guys a happy new year. 2013 was a life changing year for me, a year of growth, a year of sadness and pain, a year of happiness, a year of new relations, a year of broken relations - so much happened within 2013. But I am determined to make this year 2014 - a year of dreams. I have so much coming up this year and definitely I want to be able to prosper in everything I set my mind to do.
I decided to return to blogging because I wanted to learn so much more. With so much I aspire to do this year, I feel like blogging each moment will be able to motivate me as well as capture each step I take as I open the doors to my dreams. I am keeping this blog like my personal diary.
This blog will also serve the purpose of allowing me to explore so much within the fashion industry. I am pursuing to study fashion journalism this year and this blog will be a backdrop as I enter the fashion world.
This blog will also support my dreams of doing makeup professionally. I have been studying makeup for one year now, I began my interest in it from watching youtube videos and further on, the love I had for it continue to grow and grow. Makeup is such a utilising piece of art and is the secret to actually boosting up many ladies' confidence (I know when I put it on, I feel twice as confident hahaha). I have dreams of doing makeup alongside pursuing a career in the fashion journalistic industry - editing for magazines like Vouge, Marie Claire, Harper Bazaar as well as involving myself with the fashion and modelling industry.
Makeup and fashion go hand in hand. A lot of people used to criticise me because they felt like I was going into so many directions and that I was trying to do TOO MANY THINGS. However, makeup and fashion can be combined in so many situations. A lot of photoshoots requires makeup artists and stylists, you will need someone that can style the model for the shoot and someone who can do the makeup. In the modelling/fashion industry, you have models that need clothes to be put together and for their makeup to be done.
Regardless, how many dreams can you have? Is there a limit to the amount of dreams someone can have? I don't think so. To be quite honest, I am a dreamer. I have wanted to do so many things - i wanted to be a singer, a dancer at one time, a scientist, even a pilot and a chef.
I think to be passionate and dreamful is a blessing and the journey to making dreams become a reality is the most beautiful journey anyone can embark on.
Stay blessed guys, xxxxx
